We now have a membership scheme. Please download this form, complete it, and bring it together with £1 fee to the next Millom and District Local History Society event, or leave it with our Membership Secretary, Margaret Edmondson, at Holy Trinity Church.

Millom and District Local History Society has been in existence since 1972. We have a website and a facebook group (with almost 1,600 members) of the same name and deliver a programme of talks, events, research, projects and publications, charting Millom and District's history through the ages.

If you have enjoyed the website, facebook group, events and projects the Society have organised since November 2021, please support the continuation of the Society by joining our membership scheme. Thank you.

The Millom History Group meets the first Saturday of the month at Millom Heritage and Arts Centre and is now independent of, and operating separately to, Millom and District Local History Society. Their facebook page is: Millom History Group.
